Freelance Unreal Engine Environment Artist (Sweden)

Istudios Visuals is looking for a  Freelance Unreal Engine Environment Artist  to join us for a  1.5–2 month project beginning  mid-January 2026 .

We’re looking for someone who loves creating  artistic, atmospheric environments  in Unreal Engine and enjoys working closely with a small creative team.

What you’ll be working on

• Environment creation and refinement

• Lighting, mood development, and lookdev

• Translating references and direction into expressive visual worlds

What we’re looking for

• Strong experience with  Unreal Engine  (environment creation + lighting)

• A strong artistic eye for composition and visual storytelling

• Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset

• Ideally based in  Sweden  (Karlskrona or Stockholm) for potential future onsite work —  not required for this specific project

• Experience or interest in creating  realistic environments for Virtual Production , which will be important for future projects in our Stockholm VP studio
